Well hello there.  I'm Rodney Norwood, an independent artist based in South Carolina.  I've been a player for 30 years, and a songwriter since I learened my second chord.  (It was D)  I'm also a composer and arranger of instrumental music that runs the gamut from funk to symphonic metal.  Finally, I love covering other people's music if it is interesting, and re-interpreting it as inspiration strikes.

In the early 2000s I was playing music professionally and making a living at it, if not getting rich and famous.  Eventually I migrated to the blue collar world as finances demanded, but I never stopped writing.  Now with the explosion of connection that social media has given us (for better or worse) I thought it would be a great time to start sharing my music again.  If you found your way here, there's a good chance you are the listener with whom I want to connect.

So hang out a while.  Let's get to know each other.  Listen to the music.  If you dig what you hear, hit the store and get you some merch.  Sign up for the mailing list to keep updated.  (No, I WILL NOT blow up your inbox constantly.  That irritates me as much as you.)  But I will drop the occasional line and keep you in the loop about new projects and ideas.  Also, drop a request and I'll try and work up a cover for you.  I love doing that, so if it's within the scope of my abilities at all, I'll hook it up.  Looking forward to getting the feedback, so hit me with your best shot.
